Privacy policy
What LeadGames collects on this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This document is not published yet
The operator’s legal details have not been configured, so this page cannot show them. It has deliberately not been filled with placeholder text: an imprint or a privacy policy naming the wrong company is worse than one that is honestly incomplete. If you need this information now, please get in touch through the address you were given.
Two different sets of data
This policy covers the LeadGames website and its lead-capture assessment. It does not cover the data an exhibitor collects from visitors at their own stand: there the exhibitor is the controller, under their own privacy policy, which they provide before their campaign can go live.
The assessment on this page
If you complete the assessment we store the name, work email and optional company you enter, your answers, the questions about your next trade fair, your score and segment, the language you used, and any campaign tracking parameters in the link you arrived through.
We store this only if you tick the marketing consent box, which is never pre-ticked. Alongside it we record the exact consent wording you were shown, its version number, the time you gave it, your browser user agent and a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself.
Your result is shown on this page. We do not email it to you — no automated message is sent when you complete the assessment.
Why we hold it
To follow up by email about your result and about LeadGames, which is what the consent box asks for. Nothing else.
Who can see it
Only LeadGames staff with administrator access. It is never joined to any exhibitor account and is never shared with an exhibitor.
Where it is processed
The site runs on Vercel and the database is Neon, both in the EU (Frankfurt region). Prize emails on the exhibitor side of the product are sent through Resend.
How long we keep it
Assessment entries are kept until you ask us to delete them; there is no automatic expiry on them today. Data captured at an exhibitor stand is subject to that campaign’s own retention window and is deleted by a nightly job when it expires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. Write to the address in the imprint and we will act on it.
Visitors who played a game at an exhibitor’s stand can also erase their own record directly, from the link on their prize page, without contacting anyone.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, when you choose a language. It stores nothing but the language code and exists so the site remembers your choice. There is no advertising or analytics cookie on this page.
